At Tinkerseeds, we view the health and safety of the children, teachers, and families as our highest priority. To continue operating responsibly during this pandemic, we have put in place many precautions to address the risk of COVID-19 infection. Currently our operations include the following policies and procedures:
Coronavirus Travel & Contact Survey. Since the end of January, we implemented a mandatory survey for all parents and visitors to the school. In the beginning. the survey asked about international travel. The questions in the survey have evolved as the situation has changed. Now the survey asks additional questions, including domestic travel and contact history with other people and households who require quarantine or self-health management. Information is collected in these surveys to help inform our decisions to require certain students or visitors to remain at home for a period of time before entering school property.
Temperature checks at the front door. Anyone with a body temperature of 37.5°C or higher will not be allowed in the building. Students and staff who have a fever will not be able to return to school until 24 hours after the fever has subsided without the aid of fever-reducing medicine.
Face masks must be worn at all times. All children, staff, and parents must wear face masks before entering school property. They wear the face masks at all times.
Frequent hand washing with soap. We demonstrate the proper, thorough way to wash hands to students and model this appropriately throughout the day.
Daily disinfection. Every day, we disinfect surfaces, including the floor and frequently-touched areas with bleach or alcohol solution.
Open airflow within the classrooms. One of the defining features of our learning spaces are the large windows that allow for open airflow throughout the classrooms.
Since the beginning of this threat, before it became a pandemic, we have followed all Taiwan CECC recommendations, and in certain instances, even exceeded their guidance to ensure the safety of our learning community. We will continue to update our efforts in real-time based on the evolving situation.
If you have any questions or concerns with our response to the pandemic situation, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. You can call (02) 2532-0064 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We run small group tours for interested parents most Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 PM by appointment only. Tours last about 45 minutes and parents will get a chance to see our environment, learn about our approach to education, and find out details on our tuition and class schedule.
